Time for #4...

So the Castor Oil was a big flop...both times. Guess it's not my thing. So we're packed up and heading off to Mesa tonight. Can't wait to get him out, but I'm already missing..... and
They're staying with Grandma and Grandpa Hatch and they are sooo excited. Jaden said, "it's ok if you have to stay gone 3 days, cause grandma and grandpa spoil us and give us candy and pizza". SO I knwo they'll be fine w/o me, but i miss them. We've been a really close family lately and I love it! We spent the morning cuddling on my bed playing operation, watching spongebob and talking. I wish they didn't have stinking school so they could come! Hopefully we'll be back by Wed. though.

38 weeks and 4 days....

Alright, so most of you know, my induction that was supposed to be tomarrow is now Monday morning at 7am, so yes, I'll be giving birth to at least a 10 pounder...ug! I'd love to hear ANY induction methods you have. So far we have:
Sex: doing it
Accupuncture: done a few of the points, doing all of them Thursday
Cohosh: researched it and am too scared of the side effects
Evening Primrose Oil: Doing 3 capsules a day...um, you know where
walking: I am keeping myself up and on my feet about 80% of the day (and a lot of the night sadly)
Spicy foods: don't believe it, but tried it a few times anyways
Castor Oil: from what I've read it only works for about 30% of women and it makes most of them throw up or the other way...so that's a last resort
anything else?
Oh, I even tried canning today. I canned a billion bottles of pear butter (the little light colored stuff...it's soo good, it has orange peel in it) pear honey (the little darker stuff, it has pineapple juice and it cooks for 2-3 hours, but soo sweet, thick and yummy) and then just pears. Baby still didn't come!

And now.....this......look how stinking sweet this is. He fell asleep on my bed before his naptime in thinking position. LOVE HIM! And yes, lampshade man! He loved running around and running into things with this on his head

And my first blanket for baby Pearce...ok ok, I just picked out the fabric and cut it and my mom sewed it together. Thanks ma!

And my first quilt for baby Pearce...my mom did bind this one for me too, but I picked out the fabric, cut all the squares, sewed all the squares together, tied it, and washed it 3x to get it to fray...that's hard work!

Today I'm hoping to get my favorite one done...it's been at the quilter's for 2 weeks, but it's here and I just need to bind it. I'll post it soon.

And now to the quote of the week by our sweet Ms. Kam. She loves the song BOom Boom Pow by Fergie or the black eyed peas, which ever it is, and she always sings, "I've gotta (then she makes up 3 letters usually ending in ss)" and yesterday it just happened to be "I've gotta A S S" We died laughing, she had no idea....but now she only sings K S S. She's awesome!

I LOVE MY MOM!

Um, I'm obviously the baby of the family. I was babied til the day I left. I don't think I did my own laudnry til college. So, needless to say, I call my mom almost everyday for help with stuff. This week she has helped me bind a quilt, tie a quilt, can peaches, make peach jam, figure out a recipe, take Boston off my hands for a bit, and do my dishes. Yea, she's that great. I didn't ask her to come up and help me, but I think she got tired of my phone calls every 10 minutes asking a new canning question, so up she came with her canning kit in hand and about 10 boxes of pectin! She's the best! Thanks Ma!!!!!!Oh, pictures of the quilts will be coming SOON!

A little update at 37 weeks and 4 days.....

Alright, so we go in this weekend for a check, Jase is thinking they might just induce me since I'm the world's biggest bellied pregnant person, plus we're going to try accupuncture this weekend. But if not, they WILL induce me next Thursday, so either way, about a week til I get to meet this big ole baby. Um, I've been trying to think positively, you know around 9 or 10 pounds, but here's what I got last time... Boston at a week old...HUGE! BUt yes, still freaking adorable. I have to say I am defaintely a fan of chubby cute babies. I would be so frantic and anxious if I got a tiny one, but for now, I'm anxious and frantic about the delivery of a monster....
Which makes me think, "really, will they keep getting bigger?, Will I end up with a 14 pounder like this lady?
I HOPE NOT!
I really thought I could keep the weight down on this one since I've been working out. I've only taken off about 3 weeks altogether this pregnancy of working out, and I'm back on it. 2 workouts a day, and I'm eatting ok....by ok I mean, MUCH better than my last pregnancies, but still more than I was eatting this time last year. But yes, keep me and my woman parts in your prayers, because I have a feeling we're going to be busted to shreds w/in the week! UG!

3 things you DIDN"T know about me...

When I'm getting a drink of water, I always opt for the blue cups. WE have the aluminum tumblers, and for some reason if it's blue it makes the water seem more appealing to me.

I always eat the dog food part of lucky charms before the marshmellows and I was VERY upset at the last box we had where the charms were smaller and there were more of them, it took twice as long to eat em.

I've never tasted Lobster.

Happy Birthday, Mr. President......

Today is Jase's birthday. I feel really bad because I'm sooo stinking pregnant and he likes to do active outdoorsy things, and I'm holding him back. But yesterday we got up at the crack a 5 and bummed around on the swing with the kids and their flashlights and blankets and then Jase decided we should to go Nifty Fifties in Pine for breakfast. So we met our friends the Rossers there and had a killer great breakfast. Then he wanted to go fishing, so we hit Woods Canyon Lake..which was packed, but PERFECT wheather and no one was catching anything but our kids caught a bunch of crawdads. It was a lot of fun. And today we were awake at the crack a 3 due to our neighbor's horse giving birth (lucky horse). So I went and finished the overnight baked french toast and the boys brought Jase a plate of pretty much every fruit imaginable and we enjoyed breakfast in bed.
Then after church grandma and grandpa came over for dinner, chicken pillows, and a bunch of junk...lemon creme pie from Trappers, and pineapple upside down cake. And we gave Jase his gifts. The kids gave him an inflatable boat (that he's been wanting for a while) and mom and dad gave him a dutch oven (that he's been wanting for even a longer while) and I gave him teeth whitening from Uncle Sam...yay! And then tonight, we're going to cuddle up on our cushy sectional and watch TV....my favorite right now...plus it was pouring here today so it's all wet and thundery and dark. I love it!
But now I'd like to start interview with a vampire part III. I know it's been a few months. I've struggled with EVERYTHING these last few months, hopefully I can start to pick up things when I get this kid out (12 more days!)
Me: How was your 32nd year of life? Amazing, no really, it's amazing to see what we have accomplished this last year. Life has be very good, trials and all, small as they are.

Me: What was the best thing this last year? Probably our trip to Jamaica, it was a blast to spend that much time with you and not have to worry about anything. I also loved our family trip to Oregon, a little rushed, but a whole bunch of memories. I am greatful we were able to do those.

Me: How do you feel about your wife putting on 60 pounds in the last year?...be honest! Awesome, you look hot and weight a bunch less then you did with any of the others.

Me: Do you prefer brunettes? Everyday

Me: What do you hope to accomlish before turning 33? That's a really big question. I could be specific but since this is public I'll be general. I've actually thought a lot about this, some of which I have voiced and of course you make fun. But I would like to create a future which will allow me to serve more and build stronger relationships with my heavenly father, my family, and those I know. Me: How'd you get so sexy? Have you really seen my face? Well if you think so it's a combination of my Mom, Dad, the way you dress me, and mostly the baldness that is taking over my head.

Me: Do you like whipped cream or cool whip? Why? What kind of question is that? COOL WHIP, its creamy and has flavor.

Me: What are you going to do if your wife gets an epidural? Pray, same as if she didn't

Me: Why do you keep getting your wife pregnant even though the babies keep getting bigger? Have you seen them? Could you stop?

Me: Who do you miss most? a good president

Me: Do you prefer Dr. Mulder, Dr. Jason, Dr. Jashon or Dr. Love? Jdittydoodah

Me: Can you just try Rogaine? Don't want to mess with my testosterone

Me: Regenemax? Don't know

Me: Bosley? It'd be cheaper to die

Me: What's your favorite thing about each of your kids right now?
Jaden: that he is kind hearted kid and trys hard to please his parents.
Kamryn: Her independance and ability to watch someone do something and then do it fearlessly
Boston: His smile and his humorous dances

Me: What's your favorite thing about me? I love your desire to have a happy small town family, and that you secretly support all these crazy leaps I take.

Me: What's your least favorite thing about me? (other than my butt) Your attitude toward your body

Me: Who is the coolest person (besides me and my dad) that you've ever met? My Kids, sorry it's the only answer I can give without getting in trouble.

Me:Do you love your garden or me more? Common I love the garden cause it keeps you healthy and alive:)

Me: I'm hurting really bad, so we're going to wrap this up. Do you know how much I love you?
Some days, mostly non-pregnant days

Friday!

Ah, this is a picture I like to wake up to on a nice Friday morning. Perfect cool wheather and 2 of my boys doing the dishes. Boston's little perch made me a bit nervous, but he loves to rinse the dishes.

And another sneak peak at the ole nursery. I will post full pictures when I'm done, but I'm still waiting on the curtains (backordered) the rocking chair (being reupholstered), his big ole framed baby picture (waiting on him, then my cousin's wife is going to take some amazing pictures...can't wait!) and his quilt (at the quilters as we speak). But for now a glimps at half a wall. haha.

Oh and the ole car seat! I'm soo glad it's in. I was worried it'd get put on backorder and we'd go to the hospital w/o one.

And there you have it for now.

Awww, a sad day....

Yesterday was a REALLY sad day at the Mulder home. It started with my dad coming and knocking on our back door at about 8 this morning to ask us if we'd seen the baby chick with the crooked beak. We all went out back, but couldn't find him. Jaden said he was out there at 6:30 when he was out there cleaning. But we coudn't find him. Let me give you some background on this chick. He's not really a baby chick. He's a full grown chicken....but not full grown. He stayed a lot smaller than the rest in his group because his beak was crooked so he had to put up a HUGE fight for food growing up. Until his BFF, my dad, started stopping by every morning to feed him. He loved when my dad came. He'd fly up on his finger like a parrot. And my dad would have a seat by the coop and shove food in between his crooked beak so he could keep it in...it was his only chance of survival. I was soo glad he did it, and I was hoping he'd live another year or so. But the little guy got out yesterday..... and a dog ate him.
Sad day at the Mulder house.

Slacker

Ok, it's not that I've been neglecting my blog, it's that I've been neglecting everything. Seriously I did my hair and make up once in the last 2 weeks. blah! It's not good, baby must get out! Only 2 weeks and 3 days til induction!!!! I know, that's still a long time, but at least it's not freaking months anymore! And then only a few weeks til I can try out the new turbo jam! Ok, but what I've been up to lately. I FINALLY got my BFF Mel's baby's quilt done...her baby is 5 months or so now. ug! I'm a slacker. The quilt was all done and ready on time...but I had a stressful few months and then I just took the binding REALLY REALLY slowly. But6 it's done, and it's cuter than this picture....I just really didn't care a whole lot because I hated it by the time I got done with it and just wanted to ship it. And just last week we figured we'll be here for at least the first month of the baby's life so I started decorating the nursery. And as soon as the rest of the stuff comes in, I'll post pictures, but for now, this is all you get....

And of coarse my Thank You card stock was running low, so I stamped a few cards.....
And 2 weeks ago I decided to make these cute BOO blocks that I saw at Rod Works. Saved about $10 a set. Love em! If you want one, LMK, they are $15

And then last week I threw my back way out, outter than I ever have before so I sat and laid for 3 days straight. My kids memorized every Spongebob episode there is. I think they could give the Guttery girls a run for their money now. But today is the first day I've felt back to normal, well, back to huge knocked up, barely moving, barely fitting through hallways normal. So I've been cleaning and painting all morning. yay! The kids are soakin up their last few hours with their Bollwinkle cousins, then we're off to Flag to hit a few sales then back home to have a BBQ with our friends the Sandersons! It'll be a great Labor day...just wish I was in labor!

Wowza!

Alright, so my belly journey is what this post is all about. And although it was just a swimming suit I blocked out the upper portion of the before picture. I do have to say, I'm not happy about all this major weight gain, except in my butt. Ug, I have the flattest butt unless I stay chubby, even then it's not the best, but look at that before and after of the butt....so here it goes..
week 0-18...poochy mama.....Uh oh, week 20-30...getting huge.....

And wabam! week 0-35....a mere 60lbs. ug! And still not done! But yes, I can stay focused on the postive...the bootie and I've only gained 4lbs in the last 2 months which for me is miraculous. Ug though, seirousy look at the arms and legs difference, not to mention the huge belly. This baby bettered be another little angel!
Hopefully I don't make it to a 40 week picture, but I always take a picture in the hospital...it'll be astounding, I'm sure.
