Letter....

Dear family, friends, and loved ones,
I will never read these books. I have too many things that I need to get done in my free (aka reading) time. Also, I have HORRIBLE reading comprehension so I'd have to read, and reread it a couple of times, which would completely consume my life. HOWEVER...mind you, I may rent the books on CD that our library has....MAY. That way I can listen to the shiz while getting all of my millions of half done projects finished. Can we all be happy with that? But come on, you've gotta say it is fun to hear a review of the movie from a non reader right? I mean about 345 blogs had reviews the day after the movie came out..but they were all book readers. Anyway, thank you for your concern, encouragement and motivation to become a vampire book girl. We'll see.

Those are my sentiments exactly! I even watch the Book of Mormon read to me on DVD - It does make for a better movie though:-)

I read the books and really liked them. However I wasn't stoked for the movie. I saw it about two weeks after it came out. I laughed alot at the cheesy parts but Edward did grow on me too! The Host is the other book written by the vampire author and I liked it even better than Twilight if you are interested!

Kristal, I LOVED your review, you are so in tune for not being a reader. I could have gone with out reading the books but once i started i had to finish. I think i would have enjoyed the movie better had I not read the books. Edward has the same appeal to me, weird at first hot at the end, lots of tension (it's so much worse in the book) it really is kind of kinky. Anyways, glad you saw it!

I'm with Melissa on that fact that I really could have gone without reading them. But my husby read all of them before I even started with the first one. Ha!(and he is a non-reading sort of person) Anyway I did like your review of the movie. Its good to get a non-Twilight lover's point of view.

Thanks for the header!!! I love it!

I like the CD idea. I'm not much of a reader but the 4 twilight books are the only ones I've read probably in the past 2 years, sadly. There good but probably not the best use of time, in my opinion.

Books are the greatest things ever. I really really hope if this Twilight thing does anything, it gets people reading more. It can be the gateway book to greater literature. The thing that gets you interested in reading, but once you find the great stuff you act a little embarrassed for having it on your bookshelf when your ironic hipster friends come over.

Regardless, read more books. Books. Books. Books.
