Nice and kinda relaxing....

Friday afternoon we headed out to Bear Canyon Lake to meet the Fish's and the Biddles for a little camping expedition. This is our sweet campmobile.... Friday evening we ate some sweet hobo dinners and dutch oven peach cobbler and told ghost stories ("gotcha where I want ya, now I'm gunna eat ya") then went to bed. The boys and Calli got up early and went fishing the next morning while the awesome girls (and Jaden) stayed at camp and made a fire...NO MATCHES OR LIGHTERS!!! We're pretty awesome. And Dani got started on her sweet breakfast...don't ask.
Then we got our swimming suits on and headed to the lake. THe Biddles stayed back and went on bike rides (we forgot our bikes). Anyway, all of us and dani and brennon got in the canoe and headed to the other end of the lake whilst singing "kumbaya", "row row row your boat" and various other boating favorites for all of the fishers to enjoy. And yes, we did take requests. So we made it to the other end of the lake to a beautiful green pasture so that Dani and I could lay out and read up on our celebs, the boys could fish, and the kids could catch "lobsters", "crab"s, but really crawdads...

My view of the whole thing.....
Couldn't get much better...well, yea, it could. There was a slightly cool breeze that kept causing goosebumps. Could have done w/o that.
Here's the big catch of the day...a little bigger than last times "catch of the day"...one of these times we'll have a big ole huge fish to amaze!
On our way across the lake, B "popped" his pants and we didn't bring an extra diaper, so this was my view of him...
He was pretty happy about it though....
He got right in front of Dani and I and would dip his hand in the water....
and then clean his cute little bum....

Then it was time to head back across the lake....
Oh, one last pic of the Fish's enjoy nature at it's finest.
It took us, oh, about an hour to get across the lake. We had professional rower Brennon in the front and Jason in the back. We went back and forth all the way across the lake. Coming VERY close to the rocks numerous times, which of coarse caused a little panic in the boat. THen it took about another half hour to decide where to dock...ok, not to decide, but to actually get there! Nice boys...thanks!
B was bored with the whole thing so he just fell asleep.
Anyway, we got back to camp and Jase played a killer game of, um, I don't know what with the kids.

Baby Brigg was quite the explorer. He's a sweet boy. Jase is a little concerned because he's about 6 months younger than Jaden and can say Rolo. Jase has been working with him ever since. I however, could care less. Jado wasn't talking forever and my bro in law who has his PHd didn't talk til he was almost 4, no worries. But I have to say when Brigg says "go away", it makes me want to teach B something great like, "bite me!"

Ok, these two are only 2 months apart...isn't that hilarious! She's about a foot taller than my little runt! They were good buddies. Almost as good as K and Callie. Kamryn liked to keep an eye on Callie.
Just cute.
It got a bit chilly chilly willy the penguin so b cuddle with me...for about 3 minutes...yay! oh and the sunglasses aren't for sun, they are for the wind. my eyes were killing me!
I had to take a pic of J before we left. He thought he was clean. How cute!
It was a good time! Hopefully we can do it again in a month or so with less wind, less K going potty 5x a night and less eggs! (we all brought eggs)

Fun! We want to go with you sometime this summer. Izzy went on the father and sons with Zane and had tons of fun so we want to take him again.
What cute campers! Especially the bottomless one!

Hey fun times! I can't believe you have already blogged.. well actually I can but SERIOUSLY! We had so much fun... Kali already wants to go back. We stopped by Christopher Creek on the way home so I think maybe that should be our next camping trip. By the way don't let Brig fool you.. he only says about 4 words so B is still way more advanced! Kali is still telling us the same ghost stories.. thanks JASE.
See ya soon & seriously if you need a place to stay in 2 weeks stop by

WOW, I am jealous...looks like a blast. I believe my favorite part is Boston's butt. He's got a cute one. And you look skinny enough now. When your in the boat, holding him, I couldn't figure out who that was at first, then I realized it was "Skinny Kristal" It's okay to have a burger now.

How fun! Loved all the pictures. I hope I can get to where I like camping. We went with awesome friends when Sydney was about a year old and it just wasn't fun. We were exhausted and it was freezing. We were so tired the whole time we were there.
Because your post looked like so much fun you make me want to give it another try. Maybe I just need the cool comping mobile like yours to start it out right! You're seriously soo cool Kristal! And skinny too might I add! Hot Mama!
