Fondest Memories...

Ok, my friend Jill had this awesome idea, it just triggers memories of crazy times or pathetic times, either way, good times. I just want everyone to leave their memory of me that stands out most in my comments...then I'll copy and paste them so I can print them up in my book. Keep it clean. If it was about the summer between EA and MCC, please find a new memory!

OK, this is easy for me. I will never forget the first time our families met! You were sitting in the back row of the Relief Society Room in Coppell 2nd Ward with your family. After intros, you asked me, "Do you like it here". I gave an unsure answer b/c we really didn't so much. You said, "I hate it here!!!!" and who knows what else you said, but you were very clear about your hatred. We were so taken back by your abrupt "I hate it" attitude about Dallas! That is how we will always remember Kristal Mulder. LOL

Ok there were a lot of memories from EA that stand out, but my most treasured ones were when you were in TX and we emailed all the time, somtimes about very interesting topics!!!!! I loved checkin my email every day. Those were the years that I felt like I really got to know you.I know my comment is boring, but our emails were anything but.

Hmmm..many memories..Let's see you always brought out the crazy side of me-which was so fun. I remember that a few of us girlies went out and got plastic cups and put them in the metal fence of some school and spelled out words like "pink". I remember your many, many pictures collaged on your wall on the top bunk wall of the pink house. I loved that you all let aubrey and i live in the family room of your apt. (sexy 6) when we had to leave our pyscho roomies. You always made me laugh for the fact that you could just have said the funniest thing ever and then have such a serious look on your face. Aw Kristal you're a crack up. Those were the days!

Favorite memory of Kristal Hatch: When we stole the stop sign and you turned it into a table and put it in our front room. Or the time we stole all the pumkins after halloween, we took them to the bridge and lit them on fire and kicked the off! Man we were crazy!

When I was a little 8th grader and you and Cara would take me to the thrift store to buy cool clothes. I don't know why you let a little JR high girl hang out with you, but I loved it and thought I was cool.
Also, when you came to CA to visit me (you were my only friend ever to do that) and we saw Lisa Loeb and went to Knotts scary farm.

Ohhh... memories about Kristal.... I think my favorite and most missed memory would be mall walking at the Mills, though we did more shopping then walking. And then our adventure to try and go to Rafain's but it was closed and so was every other stupid restaurant at noon on a Saturday. Luckily we did get to go eventually. And I miss all our fondue trips, and the girl's nights, pedicures, attempting to make cards as cute as yours, you taking our pictures and making fun of how much we liked to make out, your funny kids who liked to smack my butt, our fun trip to AZ to see you guys!!! man..... i miss you :(

You are a dork! I'll post some pics in a little bit for you to look at so you don't have to worry about reading anything, K?! LOL Oh, and it IS interesting that an MD is against what the AMA and ACOG are saying about not wanting any woman to birth out of a hospital. And if you click on the Nestle icon, then you can see why. OK, I'm gonna go do my 4th of July post so you have pics and videos to look at...no reading! ;-)

Funny, mine is like the first! You were the very first person I met in TX! You looked like a stunning dark girl from another country ( I still don't believe you are just white) and you were pissed at the world for making you live in Dallas TX. I think you were really just pissed that you lived in ghetto Irving..... who would not be and that ward was so weird! I was a little frightened! Then I decided you were not crazy and that we should hang out and I am so glad that we did because you are one of a kind and I just love you! You are spice in a lot people's lives! Who can go without a Kristal for a friend! Awesome new ideas, creative, giving, intelligent, sarcastic as hell, and hillarious!

Ooh, Kristal. My first memory of you--it's still extremely vivid. My friend and I came up to check out EA as H.S. seniors. You and Alison Chapell (sp) walked in before the orientation started and you were wearing a huge tiara and who knows what else, and a completely serious expression on your face. My friend and I looked at each other like, "Okaaay...." Then I actually met you and got to know you and thought you were so fun, and now the image of you in the tiara totally fits, and I love that memory. That and the fact that you revolutionized the magazine world for me--taping pics of eyes and lips to my own face. I owe you big for that!

You, coming to our house and asking if you could eat with us because all your mom and dad ate was broccoli and chicken. Do you like broccoli now? I hate it but I have been forcing myself to eat it at restarants, still won't buy the stuff!

I'm totally with Kit on Spanish class, but I need to add making Mr. Bean videos, barking at pedestrians at BYU, Simply Fondue, your double jointed elbows and all of your HILARIOUS comments!

Easy: you being the first person to call me being pregnant and me lying to your face about it for 3 months or so. i was so not ready to be pregnant and one of my biggest regrets is just not admitting it and bonding with you. remember the time we met in the little baby boutique across the street from your apts and you were like "I knew it!" I lied and said I was there to buy Liam Reece something. You were so right.

Kristal- The memory that sticks out the most in my mind is when we first met. Remember.... we HATED eachother??? And now look at us. Our kids are betrothed, we shake things up in Vegas every year together, it's all good now.

Oh, and I remember that good talk we had at your parents cabin too. Good times. - amy john
