Um, holy mood swings batman!

Ok, so this morning I woke up, feeling great, the kids were all getting along, pearce was content so I could pack. Seriously complete happiness in my heart. And then I did something I haven't done in a while....I looked at other people's blogs. And usually I feel like a pretty together mom, but after looking at a lot of my friend's blogs, I realized, I've turned into a slacker, redneck mom! I thought Kam looked cute today because I did her hair. I almost...ALMOST mind you, bought jaden new pants because all of his have holes, but then I thought, "you know what, a lot of kids don't even have pants, pants with holes are fine". And poor boston...I'll be taking picture of his face and the last 3 meals that are on it. Luckily we change and clean the baby, but he's new to the group, before long he'll be unwashed, with crazy hair in holey clothes. What has happened to me?! Seriously, no wonder I Hardly blog anymore, I never take pictures because my kids look like white trash. I blamed my slackingness on having a newborn, and now I've been blaming it on the move and the holidays, but seriously, I'm jsut a slacker. UG! I seriously feel like a failure. I've got amazing kids, and amazingly good looking kids and I barely feed and bathe them. What the heck?! Goal for the week...get jaden pants, clean boston's face, do Kam's hair everyday!
UG!

All I have to say is sometimes you have to prioritize and there is nothing wrong with having holey, dirty kids, heck that describes mine right now, well that and that fact that my 1 year old baby has a giant goose egg on his forehead to match. I just try to make sure my kids look decent at church and on certain outings, otherwise I have to say they look pretty trashy most of the time, even when I have dressed them and done their hair, it lasts for 10 minutes I'm sure.

Hey Kristal, don't sweat the small stuff! A couple of Christmases ago all 3 of my kids had the chicken pox, no family pic's, not Christmas card went out. All we worried about were oatmeal baths & calamine lotion! Your moving & building a house, give yourself a break, go take a hot bath, & then bath the children!

Don't be hard on yourself! Things definitely get busy this time of the year and you are moving into a new house on top of that! We all have times when our kids look like "rag a muffins" - at least they look like cute ones and they are loved! :)

Loved your new house btw- so jealous!

Um have you seen my blog. I am still trying to catch up from November so I can post some December without feeling like a slacker. AND I don't even have a newborn and a new house to worry about. But I do like when you do actually have time to blog.
