Easy to ignore until....

So everyone knows that I'm 100% ok with people talking behind my back (true or not) as long as it doesn't effect my kids, and it doesn't get back to me. I like to let it be other people's problems, not mine. But today, a rumor that someone started made it clear around to my bishop, who asked me to come in and have a chat with him. Turns out something little that I did turned into a big blasphemous thing. Wow. Really? Ok, so now I'm understanding why so many women keep to themselves, and a couple of close friends. I've never had to be this way, but this IS the longest I've stayed in one place (3 years...yay). Hopefully whoever decided to START this stupid rumor can come to me about the REAL details and tell whoever SHE told that she made junk up.

Probably not.

But maybe.
Ok, so on my sidebar, I went with one of the ideas that you guys gave me on what to blog. I decided to do a different thing every day. Not saying I'll blog everyday....

but maybe

So today I wanna write on inspiration. And I have to say a blog that makes me always want to do better, especially as a mom is my amazing friend Audra's. She's my inspiration today (and most everyday). I've made it a goal for the last few months to hit my knees before my feet every morning so I'd have no excuses to not start the day with prayer. And I've done it. Ok, maybe not on our trip...I did pray everyday, but not the second I got out of bed.

Audra takes it a step farther, and I want to also.
go to her 2nd post down HERE

And there's my daily inspiration.
Oh, and I wanna leave something I'm grateful for everyday...today, Friends that know the truth!

This is horrible! It makes me sick that people can't just come to you if they have a problem with you! BOO whoever did that!

Way to be, Kristal! I don't know anything about this particular situation, BUT...I have been following your blog for a while and I must say that you have impressed me in so many ways! You are creative and unique...You show a devotion to motherhood that is amazing...You express love and excitement in your marriage...You are always helping others...You demonstrate a love of the gospel plan in your daily life...You are an exceptional example to anyone who would look at who you really are! David and I (Wendy) think you're terrific! And gossips will be called to repentance!!!!!

Wow-I feel so honored! Don't be that impressed really. I have to get better about getting on my knees each morning but I'm at least getting somewhere with the scripture. Thanks for being a friend who helps me know when I'm on the right path.

And Gossip-schmossip...how annoying is that! I'm so sorry-how miserable that other person must be to have to make up something that wasn't true.
Makes me think of the quote by Dr. Seuss: "Those who matter don't mind, & those who mind DON'T MATTER.."
So whoever this was doesn't matter in your life!
Love ya!

Oh I'm sorry about the "issue." Especially that it got around to the bishop! Poor bishops...to be bugged by that kind of crud. This kind of stuff has made me take a step back from being so involved in the ward...sometimes it's just not worth it!

Oh, I LOVE my ward, I LOVE my town. My bishop told me it didn't come from anyone in our ward, another bishop brought it to him, but I honeslty still just love this community, I've lived TOO many places to not realize that there are people who need to keep their noses in everyone else's lives everywhere....and to last over 3 years w/o being the subject is pretty good. haha.

ugh! that makes me sick! don't let it get to you. You're too good of a person to let that kind of stuff bring you down.

Oh I hope it was something really scandalous! Dang sometimes I miss living in a small town. Great job turning it into something positive!
