Founders day

Ok, I stink! I didn't take any pictures of founders day, so here's the lowdown. We woke up around 6:30 (thanks to the anvil's every 5 minutes around town) and we went down to the church where half the town was. And J and Jase did the kid's bike race which was 4 miles I think. While, K, B and myself ate pancakes and talked with our friends the Sandersons. Next we all ate more pancakes together...nice. Then we came home, changed and went right up to the stinkin crappy volleyball tournement! Our team was #1 in the first round (of 15 teams) and then we won our first game of the tournement, and lost by ONE STUPID STUPID point (the games were timed...lame!) to the team that took the whole thing! bah on you Greg and Cayla fish! Ok, just kidding, we love them, and if I had to lose to anyone I'm glad it was them. If it were the moisers or the millers...someone would have lost a limb in their sleep that night.
Then we went down to the firehosue for some killer BBQ and an auction. The same family that got my photoshoot that I donated last year, got it this year, but this year they paid $90 more. Jase also sold 5 visits for $190 or somethign like that...it ended up being half the real cost. And we walked out of the auction with dinner at jerry's (yuck, but it's got great sentimental value) 2 oil changes, and a pizza from bubba's that I kept bidding against my dad for. Dad didn't know it, but the auctioneer, rusty, was laughing about it. Dad ended up with Dinner at Romo's and a R/C car. Ha! Then we walked home and Jase went to the raquetball tournement for over 3 stinkin long hours while I went and did a photoshoot...for the family that won it. I LOVE this family. They were fun to shoot. I get to do the middle girl's senior pictures too!! The one with the long highlighted hair. yay!!!

After the shoot we set up another v-ball game at the church which was supposed to be for an hour, but ended up being for almost 4 hours because we had the amazing DJ and the amazing Jay there. I am taking tutoring lessons from these boys mom's to learn how to raise perfect, happy, sweet boys. Their families are soo great! Then we came home, and we were going to go play cards at mom and dads, but I remembered I had to make cookies, so I made cookies til 1am then woke up at 7 to make a cake or two before heading out to church (30 min. late!) bah! And Easter was great. The kids loved their chicks and the egg hunt. And we had dinner at ma n pa's with the gardners, followed by a sweet game of pollack rummy. At the end of the day when I asked J what's important to him, he answered, "that Jesus died so that we can all be together. And he came back to life". So I'm glad he didn't say chicks and candy. yay! Something was learned this Easter!!!

You're so talented Kristal. I love the pictures. They turned out great! If I lived closer to you I'd be asking you to do mine. We're so behind...last family picture was Nov of 06. Yikes!

I'm kinda sad that we didn't end up moving back there last year.

Pics are fantastic!

P.S. we're coming up April 19th. My great uncle plays in the bar at El Rancho -- dinner that night?

Well good for him. All Oliver learned was that the Easter Bunny knows how to make Trampsformer capes. Yes, Trampsformer.
Happy late Founders Day! I love small towns.

You're pictures are great. We still need figure out when we can do Ragan's. I went to a photographer here. Not very happy with them. I just need to make a trip to see you.

I changed my address for security purposes. Some weirdo has my address so I'm hoping he won't be able to find me. I changed some setting so search engines can't find me. If he does, I'll go private. www.nathanswife.blogspot.com

You did so amazing on these photos, we are going to have to do some more when Macy gets a little fatter. I love chubby babies. Hey thanks so much for coming over last night. You guys are the bomb and we loved having you and your visit. Let's do it again soon, but with games and food. That makes the party all the better so we don't have to just stare at one another's adoring faces. Lot's of luv, amy
